Past bad American Presidents were, in later years, looked back by historians to find some redeeming features. And some were found. Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Bush 1&2.
You could add the worst of all of these and they would still make a better president than what we've been stuck with since 2016.

You know, though, as I've said before, it's not Trump. He's just one single sicko. What concerns me is Trumpers. I mean, you're in a public area, and you look around you, and you realize that one of every three people you see observed the behavior of the Orange Asshole and...voted for him for President!!! It's like realizing that every third person is a murderer or rapist.
I honestly don't know how we'll cure that. It's evident that the racism, tribalism, and bigotry that Trump rode to the Presidency runs very, very deep in American society. Many people were not only not appalled by Trump's behavior---they were titillated and gratified by it. And they still are! Think about what that means for a moment.
We're in deep shit as a nation whether or not we throw Trump into history's dumpster.
But Trump manged to get more water into the dishwashers. That is more important than dealing with the COVID-19 hoax.
