Did you hear the booing as they were doing the BLM stuff prior to the game? White people are sick of being called racist. We're sick of NFL players telling us the blacks are being treated differently by cops, even though the group is a "high risk" group when it comes to crime. Pit Bulls are looked at differently by the dog catcher, even though some pit bulls are extremely friendly.

The NHL which is less political, has had a big jump in ratings.
So there is a correlation.
We stopped going to concerts when some artists began feeling the need to spew their political opinions during the show. We pay to enjoy the performance, the music, not which president they don't like.
Now it invades sports. The "in your face" and "take this" messages.

Tell me something.... in the same week you blow off our president referring to our fallen soldiers as suckers and losers ( I believe you rationalized it by saying it was “just words” or something ) you have become enraged by a simple, peaceful demonstration in a call for unity on an NFL field that did not call out or insult anybody. Why is that?
I’m the same race as you are ...I wasn’t insulted by the mixed race of players in that demonstration.
And as I already said, I can care less what you watch and don’t watch. Doesn’t hurt me one bit. I spent my Thursday night not getting my feelings hurt watching NFL football....and that was after a week of listening to conservatives complain about snowflake liberals taking umbrage to our president shitting on our casualties of war.

I didn't write a word about Trumps comments on fallen soldiers. I'm not enraged about any peaceful demonstrations, but I am sick and tired of being called racist when I am not. Wouldn't a racist be proud of claiming that he's racist, after all.
PJ, white atheletes have to fall in line. White ESPN announces have to fall in line. Anything less would at minimum for players cause team conflict, and at ESPN cause a loss of job. I don't believe that means that these white guys buy into the idea that the black man is screwed at every turn.
I did watch the NFL football recording today at 5:00am in hyper speed............in Spanish. I mistakenly recored the game on ESPN Deportes.
Pj needs to catch up. The so called comments have been disproved by 11 actual humans with names along with the previously published Bolton book which detailed the day in question.

As an ardent Kansas City Chiefs fan, I was ashamed at the booing on Thursday night. Our country has a serious problem which too many white people choose to ignore. I am a Vietnam Veteran and a retired Postal Employee who was blessed with working besides many fine Black people in my life, most of which I call friends. I carried mail in many Black Neighborhoods and served besides outstanding Black soldiers in the military. I can't even begin to imagine whats its like to be in their shoes and worry about a simple traffic stop, also the indignity of being called racial slurs. We have yet to have a meaningful National dialogue to move towards stopping racial bias, Trump has not provided that forum. I always feel that people who start their argument with I'm not racist but...should examine their souls. The BLM are people protesting for justice, there are people who are rioting and looting but they represent a small percentage of that movement. It would be just as wrong to indentify all white people as White Nationalists. We need a strong leader who can bring about Peace and meaningful reform. Just remember the last line of the pledge of Allegiance, "With Liberty and Justice for All"! America could be so much better!
