Call it both ways please. What Trump just did was eliminate or push back a nuclear threat from a crazed regime. He didn't start a war. He ended it.
To claim that this is somehow wrong is laughable given that other presidents have done the same thing, From both parties.
And if congress expected to be notified and vote on this prior, the entire element of surprise would have vanished. The whole premise is ridiculous. This was a surprise, targeted attack that was brilliantly executed from what I can tell.
Impeachment? Seriously? Why don't we celebrate the fact that our military kicks ass and we may be headed towards some peace in the Middle East? USA!

Trump didn't do anything but escalate and inflame what was already going on. It seems be spiraling out of control at the moment. I get he needed a win because his presidency is failing.
The biggest development over the past few years is the fact that the Arab states have completely turned their back on Iran and its proxies. They've never got along - but they always had the common denominator of both hating Israel more than they hated each other. That is no longer the case.
Iran was counting on the Arab states rallying around the Hamas attack on Israel and coming to the rescue of Palestine. That didnt happen. 15 years ago if Israel invaded Gaza or bombed Iran the arab states would shut off the oil spigots and retailiate. Not now. Saudi Arabia officials probably did backflips when the bombs dropped on Iran. They've had enough of their bullshit.
I think Iran has figured out they are alone now in the MIddle East with all of their proxies decimated.
