Because there were no cops around at the time.  The mayor had told the police to stand down, creating the situation where only bad things can happen.

I supported The Bundy protesters, I supported Kyle Rittenhouse. And I support the protesters in Minnesota including Alex pretti. 

 

"Brandishing a military grade assault rifle" really dude? Please define the term assault rifle. Please define the term military grade. 

 

The semi-automatic modern sporting rifle that Kyle Rittenhouse carried did not have a selector switch to go to three shot burst or full auto. Therefore it was not by definition an assault rifle.

I agree with you that there are those that seem quite hypocritical when criticizing Alex simply for carrying while protesting. 

 

I'm genuinely curious if you define all gun owners/carriers as gun nuts? I don't want to put words in your mouth but that's what I tend to infer when I hear people use the term gun nuts. 

 

It is worth mentioning that several firearm organizations have condemned The administration's handling of the shooting and supported Alex's right to carry.
