Another day, another ICE killing

So, that's a "no comment" on the pardons?  A little cowardly for such an opinionated poster.

I feel that the pardons were as justified as the trials and convictions were justified.

MAGA cult logic...

  Tit for tat.

The young lady killed in this wrong-way interstate death was killed by a Jan 6er.  He was convicted of violent assault on a Capitol Police woman on that "peaceful" protest day and sentenced to four and a half years.  Then, when pardoned by Trump, purposely drove the wrong way on the interstate and killed her.  He was sentenced to 17 years for it--wonder if Trump will pardon him this time?   Somehow, I think his first conviction was more justified than his pardon.

Here is the actual report as things transpired and not the manufactured description that Dealer 1 twisted to appear that this man delibertly sought out and killed this woman.-SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — Almost three years after a deadly wrong-way crash in Springfield, a former Jan. 6 defendant convicted of causing the crash was sentenced to 17 years behind bars. Shane Woods, 47 of Auburn, was in the courtroom of Judge Ryan Cadigan on Tuesday to learn his fate following his conviction in May. After a three-day trial, a jury found Woods guilty of reckless homicide, aggravated DUI causing death, aggravated DUI causing great bodily harm and aggravated fleeing and eluding police. The jury reached that verdict after hearing evidence that on Nov. 8, 2022, Woods was driving drunk, distraught at the notion of being sentenced for crimes committed at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. He had pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and a journalist. Out of federal custody but facing sentencing, Woods was pulled over by a Divernon police officer for speeding; the officer reported that he could smell alcohol on Woods’ breath and that Woods made comments about taking his own life. After the crash, Woods was sentenced by a federal judge to four years in prison for the assaults he committed on Jan. 6, 2021. But his continued detention in the Sangamon County Jail and a later pardon from President Donald Trump meant he never spent a day in federal custody. When the murder case went to trial in May, the jury acquitted Woods of first-degree murder but found him guilty of reckless homicide. They also convicted him of aggravated DUI causing death, aggravated DUI causing great bodily harm and aggravated fleeing and eluding police. If you notice his sentencing for the Jan 6 verdict occured AFTER the CRASH. The pardon he received had nothing to do with his actions that caused the crash that killed the woman.

As I said. . . he was pardoned by Trump--makes you proud doesn't it?

Nice slimy try -- The crash that killed this woman occured on Nov.8,2022 -- 11 months PRIOR to his Jan 6th conviction. He was convicted for the killing on August 20, 2025. The pardon he received was for his Jan 6th conviction and had nothing to do with when he killed that woman.

So a rioter...a murderer...someone who tried to violently overthrow the government...and then he killed an innocent woman. And Trump pardoned him for his role in the insurrection.

His behavior since Jan. 6 should have been taken into account, hm?

Admit it, Miller, if Biden had pardoned someone for Offense A while he was being prosecuted for Offense B, which was felony murder, you and MAGA would have popped like overripe zits!

Nope. The pardon he received had nothing to do with this guys actions that caused her death.

But the Turd knew, or should have known, that he was under prosecution for felony murder. But I guess if you're gonna pardon a murderer, it doesn't matter much if he's murdered someone else since, hm?
