Biden just put a two-year moratorium on tariffs on solar panels. Anyone with an even rudimentary knowledge of macroeconomics knows that tariffs are counterproductive. But of course, Trump was being a loyal lackey for the fossil fuel industry, which felt and still feels that it has to crush solar in order to force people to continue using their obsolete technology.
The billions of excess dollars that consumers had to spend to buy solar panels is just one more way that Trump-hole hurt this country. Many of those consequences are just now becoming apparent. Thank God we have Biden now and not a fossil fuel stooge.
