The liberal narrative is that white gangs are stalking the country killing blacks. But the FBI stats show that 90% of black homicide victims are killed by other blacks.
The other narrative is that by banning long guns guns, murders will end. FBI stats show that less than 5% of gun murders are with a long gun.
Banning all guns is another narrative, but while we are at it perhaps we should ban all knives as knife attacks are on the rise.
Stabbings are on a rise in the Big Apple amid a citywide surge in major crime, according to the latest figures obtained by The Post. The statistics, which cover the period through Aug. 7, show that stabbings have risen by 11% compared to the same span last year – from 2,465 to 2,756. Fatal stabbings have jumped a whopping 43% – from 48 to 69 – during the same period, the data shows.
