Where is Germany suppossed to get natural gas from? The only other source is LNG which is much more expensive.
Germany has aggressively been moving toward alternative energy. The transition has not been fast enough.
You can make a legitimate claim that closing down their nuclear plants in favor of Russian gas powered plants was a mistake. Russia wasnt invading Ukraine when that decision was made. They are likely to reverse that.
