Another stupid policy for so many reasons

The US is importing 530,000 barrels per month of Chinese used cooking oil for diesel fuel.   We're again helping evil China, but at least it's a financial winner for us, right?  Nope...we're taking it right in the ass.  The federal government is subsidizing EACH GALLON  to the tune of $3.83.  If consumed in California, these idiots are adding to the stupidity with an 80 cent per gallon kicker.

Oh my.  Will the limp dicked Liberal insanity ever end?

Boilerman - why dont you throw out everthing in your house that was made in China then get back to us.   Then you can try to reconcile all of the Republican oppossition to the Biden Administration onshoring manufactuing they took away from China....most importantly with microchips.     Then Boilerman can give a shout out to the limp-dicked Republican House that just made biofuel subsidies a demand in their most recent debt limit negotiations.    Whew - That was too easy.

But hypocrisy aside - the program Boilerman references is a solution to address the emissions of heavy vehicles using renewable fuel.    And the demand is growing by 30% over the next 5 years.    And several new manufactuing plants in the US are in development  (can you say US jobs)?.   In the meantime the demand is greater than our ability to produce hence we import from the worlds biggest user of soybean oil (the same soybeans Trump subsidized, by the way).

Take a trip to Baton Rogue or Charleston WV and you can see the economic despair caused by leaders who think the same way Boilerman does with no ability to see the future.

$280 per barrel of oil is what I most have a problem with.  You don't?

Some of the limp dicked liberal Republicans in Iowa that praised the subsidies

The governor  and four house members.

Republican Governor Kim Reynolds:

I commend the members of Iowa’s Congressional Delegation for their steadfast efforts to stand up for biofuels throughout the negotiations on the House debt limit package. Their commitment helped protect an industry that contributes over $6 billion to Iowa’s economy and accounts for over 60% of Iowa’s corn. I want to thank Speaker McCarthy for working with the delegation to find a compromise that continues the conversation while recognizing the importance of biofuels to our country.

I dont take issue with your opinions.  I only take issue when you make shit up...like when you credit Republican policy to Democrats.

I support the subsidies in the same spirit I support EV subsidies in their early development.   Its not suppossed to be profitable in its infancy.  Its suppossed to be an investment for new industry that will be profitable in the future.   If you disagree you can buddy up with Joe Manchin and continue to tell West Virginia about the bright future of coal.

Free country.

DON'T TALK TO BOILER ABOUT THE FUTURE!! He's a conservitard--he's afraid of the future!

Fuck PJ, you know that the Iowa politicians are talking about ethanol.  They are not talking about paying $280 per drum of oil from China.

Boiler doesn't even understand what biofuels are, it seems...

Its the same subsidy and not only did they vote for it - they sponcered it.   I guess you have to be a limp dicked liberal if you want to run as a Republican in Iowa, huh?

Kevin doesn't realize that this oil is biofuel.

PJ doesn't realize that we are no longer subsidizing ethanol.  That doesn't mean that ethanol is competitive with crude oil, because it is not.  Government instead mandates the gasoline producers use a percentage of ethanol.  By the way, when it was subsidized it was at about 40 cents per gallon.  This shit is at $3.83 per gallon.

It's idiotic.
