Just shows how stupid voters are in New York. But I am not surprised, after all they voted for the murderers Cuomo and de Blasio.
Her main opponent was Michelle Carusso-Cabrera who you might recognize as a long time reporter/pundit on CNBC. She's a nice lady but I dont know what she was thinking trying to run as a Democrat. Anyone remotely familiar with her position on economics knows shes about as hardline-right as you can get.
I dont always agree with AOC but she's proven to be a strong and intelligent voice from the left. People say she's the left equivalent of Michelle Bachman which is bullshit. AOC has far left positions on issues which one can agree or disagree with - but she doesn't dwell into the conspiracy theory crap that surrounded the tea party. She's a good voice in the house. Glad she is still there.,
