I'm not the least bit surprised that this is the first time Tommie-poo has heard that there is unspent covid relief money. He's been too busy saying stupid shit about Biden to pay attention to what is actually going on.
The costs that will be cut are listed in the bill. Maybe instead of whining about it, Tommie-poo should actually read it.
Another element beyond Tommie-poo's comprehension is that the bill contains ADDITIONAL FUNDING for the IRS to increase tax compliance. The IRS estimates that they would be able to collect an additional $10 for every additional $1 spent. The "fiscally responsible" RepubliQ party (the one that put us in a gigantic hole with Trump's tax cuts for the rich) ought to be on board with this. Except they aren't, because their rich buddies who give them billions of bribes and swag every year might find themselves in the IRS spotlight. The LAST thing the fat cats want is a more powerful IRS.

One cannot read the bill since the democrats haven't released it yet. All we know is what they have made public.
So Lam is saying the above is in the bill which raises $2.5t, but the 2 bills costs north of $5t. So Lam proves my point that the bill is $3t short. Thanks for agreeing with my point.
