A child sitting in their elementary school classroom deserves to be every bit as safe as the Supreme Court Justices.
The person who traveled to Kavanaugh's neighborhood didn't actually attempt to assassinate him. He was simply exercising his Second Amendment right to carry weapons. He never fired a shot. So he's not guilty of any crime.
At least, this is how it would sound on Fox News if some Oath Keeper wackadoodle carrying a gun was arrested in front of Nancy Pelosi's house.

The justices already have 24-7 protection. How many Supreme Court Justices have been killed in the history of this country? How many kids have been killed in their classrooms over the last 10 years?
Just give the justices guns. Then there's no problem. I mean, unless you dont buy into NRA/Republican propoganda about the causes and solutions for gun violence.

Nope, they already have it better than the average elementary school student. Don't fool yourself this extra security is to just keep them from legitimate none-violent criticism and protests. Liberals aren't storming government buildings and trying to depose them like thosuands of violent conservatives have.
