The criticism of the ad campaign is the  millions of dollars behind it could heal the sick, feed the hungry, and shelter the homeless......but instead is used as an ad campaign for Jesus.     

I've seen the ads.  They have a good message and aren't trying to indocrinate anyone into becoming a Republican.   I dont really have a problem with them.   At least the money isnt spent to buy Joel Osteen another yacht.

It is quite true that all the trillions and trillions of dollars that have been used throughout human history to build churches and cathedrals and pay parasite priests could have been spent on actually helping people, not deluding them.

Religion is a brand, an occupation, and a moneymaking scheme. We handle it with kid gloves, though, more than it deserves. Anyone even mildly criticizing religion gets torched by conservatives...one of the ten or twenty thousand things I loathe about them.

The group sponsoring the Jesus ads is also financing a lawsuit to stop legal abortion medication.
