First time posting. I think the only reason Trump is trying to find a solution and end this war is that he thinks he will get the Nobel prize. Thats his main mission. I really don't think he cares how many people are dying or the terrible conditions/aftermath this invasion is causing. He wants the big prize so he can brag about it.

He's delusional if he thinks that he would ever get a Nobel. I think it's more crass and simplistic than that. He wants more money in his own pocket, either via business deals given him in gratitude by Putin or in free minerals strong-armed from Zelensky (the original plan).
He's been babbling about "ending the war" for some time now, and he acts as if forcing Ukraine to surrender and forfeit their sovereignity is an "end" that anyone other than Putin wants. The Allies could have "ended" WWII in 1940 when Paris fell if they wanted to. Hitler extended a peace offering then.
Regardless of his motivations, his behavior, attitude, and unwarranted bullying were repulsive and reprehensible. I no longer listen to the MAGA propaganda outlets, but I'm sure they're barfing up fawning praise about his "strength."
