Belated Laughlin trip report

Nice, Boilerman.  What a super time you and your boys had!

My BFF and I used to love going there on a charter to Harrah's.  Our suite was an actual suite, not lavish/fancy, but Two very big rooms (an actual suite) a super bathroom, refrigerator, microwave oven, coffee maker.   They had an excellent buffet, gone after covid.  We used to win there too, and the first place I learned High Card Flush which I like a lot. I can't do the charters anymore as they are always 4 nights, can't do four nights anymore.

Thanks for reporting.

But if you go in the summer, you can watch the Colorado River boil!

Year 42 on this annual trip.  Going back to Laughlin in 2026, but likely looking for a change in 2027.  It could be the El Cortez in Vegas, it could be Lake Charles, LA, maybe Eagle, CO.

Please let me know if any of you have suggestions.  The key is finding a reasonably priced "Big Room".

How about Reno/Tahoe?

We cooked corn beef hash/eggs/bacon/fruit for breakfast one morning, brats and Italian sausages (plus peppers/onions/sourkraut) one afternoon. The hot dog/cooked sausage steamer ran the entire weekend. We had chips, nuts, crackers, dip, vegetable platter

Hopefully nobody was scheduled for a cholesterol test

Jackie Gaughn suite at El Cortez averages $1500 a night, it's a time capsule and huge.
