Tax revenues are up this year but exepnditures are up significantly more. 2/3rds of federal expenditures is social spending. The problem in the US is not revenue but costs.
What makes you think medical costs will go down?

What Republiholes conveniently forget is that the flaws in Obamacare exist because the Republicans wanted those flaws. Democrats, in a spirit of compromise that in retrospect, seems naive, allowed the plan to be modified per Republican demands. They should have done a Mitch McConnell and just rammed the legislation through, ignoring them.
