The best fast food burger?

In-N-Out by a large margin...they're still affordable and quite good. I'll just add I've grown fond of Wahlburger double meat cheeseburgers, too ( I request that they leave off that special sauce, which is some derivation of 1000 Island dressing; it's a wee bit disgusting for my tastes). Further, Whataburger is still on my list of burger joints, too..with green chile of course.

Whataburger is outclassed in the green chile burger department by Blake's, whuch is expanding from its base in New Mexico. Blake's uses Hatch chiles. It's my all-time favorite burger, but it doesn't qualify here because it's still strictly regional.

Blake's burgers are good, but their ordering system is a bee's nest ( besides standing in line and ordering face to face). They're good when they get it right..burger -wise.

Well, yeah, but I didn't include the quality of service and such in my question/evaluation. As far as that goes, In N Out wins by a large margin. They can move a huge crowd through the ordering system faster than anyone else. And...they pay their employees more than their competitors, so the people there actually look like they enjoy their jobs and work hard. That's in stark contrast to, for instance, the stupefied zombies I saw working at my local Wendy's yesterday. Oh, and you can have green chile (actually, the tangier yellowish variety) on their burgers if you ask.

A green chile cheeseburger can restore your faith in...uh...something. The integrity of major league umpires, maybe?

In Vegas, for my money, In-N-Out burger is the best.

In Vegas particularly, I agree ( burgers are satisfying and affordable). What's the average price of a burger on the Strip? I'll bet it's factually close to $15 - $20 each, or close to it at most venues. The In-N-Out double is at least half that amount, even the Linq / Strip location.

Perhaps this topic can be kept clear of politics, though I doubt it.

In your humble opinion, what's the best fast food burger:

1. Irrespective of price

2. Combination of price and quality

For me, 1. is the Carl's Jr/Hardee's Super Star and 2. is the In N Out double cheeseburger.

Don't consider the specials that are only available for a limited time, just the ones that are always on the menu.

I prefer the Carl's Super Star to the In N Out double myself.

I will have to try the Carl's Super Star burger - is there a location in Vegas?

Culver's butter cheddar burger with a side of fried cheese curds.

I love a Culver's burger.  I love cheese and fried stuff but pass on fried curds.

Many. The closest ones to the Strip are at the corner of Valley View and Sahara, near Desert Inn and Maryland, and directly across the street from the Strat at LV Blvd and St. Louis. There's also one at Terminal 3 in the airport.
