Biden

Since he has all these warning signs, do we want to trust our country to man like this for the next 6 years?

He of course is not running anything.  I would like to know who is though.

If Kevin's dad acted this way, I would hope he would be concerned but probably not.  But I don't think he really cares about anyone like he pretends to here on this site.

Stupid Tommie-poo may be so ignorant as to not know that there are mechanisms to remove a truly incompetent President from office, temporarily or permanently. And with loyal watchdogs like Tom staying up late at night watching videos of Biden seven days a week, nothing will escape our notice. Every time Biden stutters, Tom will post here a dozen times.

It can be societally useful to have people whose lives are so otherwise completely worthless that they can perform but one function. Stupid Tommie-poo: self-appointed Biden Watchdog.

Use Occam's Razor, Jerry. The simplest answer to your conundrum, above, is that your first statement is simply incorrect.

The alternative "explanation" is that there is a secret shadow cabal, a hidden government that performs, completely out of sight or scrutiny, all the executive functions of the US government. Great premise for bad spy novels and movies starring Vin Diesel. Not so hot for reality.

And since my dad lived until he was 88, he naturally showed signs of cognitive decline. But he was still competent, right up to the end. BUT...I'm sure that if I had followed him around with a video camera 24/7, and I had wanted to get rid of him, I could have put together a convincing "greatest hits" presentation.

Similarly, Tom (like you), wants to get rid of Biden, so he does what he loves: he cherry-picks.

And y'know what, Jerry? I don't even LIKE Biden all that much. But Jesus, fuck...how can you Trumper idiots tell us Biden is too old and then wave that wrinkled rotting orange Trump in our faces? And maybe we should stop electing old people if we freak every time they stutter or forget something...but that's another debate.

Trust me, I'm sick to my stomach every day that this country may put up two of the worst candidates in history yet again for round 2.  It is truly pathetic!  Our country should be just a bit better than that.....

Trump would actually be a better candidate than DeSantis IMHO. Trump's easy to figure out; he cares about exactly one thing--himself. And he, outside of his con skills and low cunning, is really pretty much of an idiot. DeSantis, in contrast, is stone cold evil AND reasonably intelligent. He would be much worse. If we have to choose between Peter Griffin and Dracula, give me Peter Griffin.

On the Democratic side, Biden is there out of inertia more than anything else. I don't like him running because any of half a dozen younger, "fresher" candidates would squash any Republican opponent flat. We're poised for a massive blue wave, thanks to the idiotic self-destructive decisions of the RepubliQ, of which Trump-worship was only a part. So maybe the Democratic leadership thinks that anybody could defeat the Orange Turd or Florida Man. But they thought that with Hillary.

And I can think of at least three instances in US history when the two Presidential candidates were worse.

Trump and DeSantis are writing the Democrats campaign ads every time they open their ignorant mouths.

I guess they think pardoning Jan 6 terrorists is a winning message.    Picture the side screen of their statements along side the videos of proud boys beating cops over the head with flag poles.

Good luck selling fascism to the suburbs of Philly, ATlanta, Phoneix and Milwaukee.

I couldn't agree more.

However, the best your side found was a man aimlessly walking around like your corner nursing home has.

Country is in a sad state.

Asked about Biden, McCarthy said: "I thought his team was very professional, very smart, very tough, at the same time, so ..." The fact that McCarthy said "team" threw reporters off. They asked again, specifically about Biden. "What I was referring to was the president. I was talking about President Biden, yes."

So can we all agree with Kevin McCarthy that Biden is very professional, very smart, and very tough? And sleepy!!!!!!

Except there are a million examples of him not being any of those.
