Biden

Gee, I suppose no one should be somewhat concerned about a major party candidate that starts a coup, wants to ''suspend the Constitution and will set himself up to be *president for life.

But he sure seems to live rent free in some people's minds on here.  Actually pretty funny that they are so worried about him. He won't even be in the next election.

Why do you and Peckerwood think that? Who else will they nominate? Certainly not Florida Man, unless they have a collective death wish.

And we all know that Trump's team of goober-funded lawyers will manage to push all the criminal stuff until after the election, one way or another. So he'll be able to run unhindered.

But your silly supposition is dead wrong. Nobody's worried about him. It's more along the lines of disgust. I for one fervently hope he gets the nomination. It'll ensure a Biden win, and toss the RepubliQ party into the dumpster of history for all time.

He is locked in the Federal January 6th case and the NY state hush money trial. Those will come before the election unless something changes drastically.

Wow, these dems just can't seem to get over Trump! Hello, he is not the President.

I hope we never "get over" Donald Trump!  His behavior should be taught in every American History course for as long as the country exists.  We had never had a presidential candidate lose an election--the popular and elector vote--and then try to stay in power.  He had every right to demand recounts and to have courts explore voting procedures--done by both Clinton and Gore; both were unsuccessful and they conceded.  Every one of those avenues pursued by Trump resulted in confirming the Biden win.  He had no right to conspire to organize fake electoral votes to be cast; to coerce his Vice President to ignore every law and existing practice to solely decide who would become president; and, he had no right to incite and then sic a violent mob on Congress to stop the counting of electoral votes.  As much as we should teach the behaviors of great presidents--Washington, Lincoln, FDR--we should teach the behavior of the most despicable presidents.

He is way to dangerous for our country to ever be allowed any chance to exercise government power again.  Yet, a majority of Republicans still think he should be their nominee and president.  Unfortunately, that tells you more than one needs to know about the cult that is now the Republican Party.

They may start before then, but be resolved or even close to it by the time the election rolls around? No effin' way. Not when the primary goal of the defense is to delay the proceedings. Unfortunately, our legal system is set up to allow that.

Peckerwood's blithe dismissal shows exactly why you're right. The danger that The Turd presents remains.

And as long as the 75 million (fucking idiots) still LUVVVV him and would pay a million bucks to suck his dick, he and his influence are as strong as ever.

Well put.

This is why he won't be in the election at all.  If he's allowed to run, while being involved in these cases, that's an "F-U" to the whole system and the Republican party will look like even doofus' than they already do.

Isn't the mere existence of Trump, plus the fact that he's somehow still running around loose, plus the sad fact that the 75 million haven't been rounded up and sterilized and then relocated to Baffin Island, a giant FU to the whole system?

The RepubliQ party, I agree, is some bizarre mutation of its former self, but if it goes away, it'll just be replaced with something else, maybe even more unequivocally named, like the Kill Them All Party ("them" being a malleable concept).

If kevin read the news instead of msnbc he would see there are a number of candidates to pick from.

It'll ensure a Biden win

biden will drop out of the race well before the nomination.

The democrats & their friendly media are starting to grease the skids.  The AP has their poll with 77% saying he is to old.  The democrats, Wash Post & the Times are mumbling the same thing.  He continues to stumble/mumble/hobble/get lost & he forgets the simplest things.  His handlers keep him out of sight as much as possible & don't let him answer questions.  He just had a multiple week vacation & I bet he disappears for a 4 day weekend later this week.
