Conned again, David.
AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Biden was not making the statement himself, he was reading a racist statement made by a state legislator during a redistricting process in Louisiana that was overseen by a deputy attorney general nominee. Biden was questioning the nominee under oath about the comments during a U.S. Senate hearing.
The way the video was shown certainly could have been done to paint him in a bad light. If he was reading a statement, as you suggest, than I am wrong about the "N" word comment. I was duped. my mistake. Do you have any comment about the rest of the video?
Videos don't lie, because they can't. They are not sentient beings with free will. However, the people who make, post, and link to videos can very easily lie, and often do.
You have to view such videos with a healthy dose of skepticism, especially if they depict something that you want to see. Anybody viewing the video should be instantly suspicious that it was doctored, edited, or otherwise misrepresented, because Biden would not use the N-word, except possibly when quoting someone else. Neither would Trump, for that matter.
The credulousness of many Americans is astonishing, which is why Putin's troll-bots are working overtime to disseminate this crap. You shouldn't be helping him by passing it along.
