Just watched a rather interesting Fox News rant about how Biden was solely responsible for the price of gas having gone up by $2.40 since the beginning of his administration. Nothing else was a factor, according to the "news" anchor (forget who it was--some frigid bitch). It was all that terrible liberal soooocialist agenda as part of Biden's eeeeeeevil plan to destroy America (really, these people talk like that).

Then I watched a CNN segment that reported that gasoline in Europe has increased in price by $2.80 during the same time period. I wonder how Fox News would explain Biden's deathly grip on the GLOBAL petroleum market. Obviously, he can not only decree the price of gas in the US, he can do that for Europe as well!!!!

Only a complete dumb fuck would attribute the fluctuations of the global economy to the actions of the US President. But there appears to be no shortage of said dumb fucks. We have several of them here on this board.

(Here's another hilarious aspect of this idiot conservitard trope. If Biden actually controlled the price of gasoline, wouldn't he want it to go DOWN?? That "energy independent" phrase is spectacularly stupid--as are most conservitard memes. The actuality is that we've ALWAYS been able to supply our own energy needs from domestic sources only, and that's true now. That the fossil fuel companies choose to buy products from overseas instead is their decision, based on their urge to make greater profits; we're not like Europe, which has no choice but to buy energy abroad.

I'm always amused by how conservitards say that "we" (meaning, the gummint) do something they don't like, when what they're talking about is actually decisions made by PRIVATE companies. Not Biden. Not Roseanne Barr. Not the Tooth Fairy. Private companies that make their own decisions about where to buy and sell their products.
