But just to edumacate you a little...executive orders have a limited life and can be overturned by succeeding Presidents. Remember when your hero, the Turd, ran around wildly canceling Obama's executive orders just because they were Obama's executive orders? So Biden didn't bother implementing an order than might not survive anyway...until he was pressured to do so. ALSO--and this is the part you're leaving out--he truly thought that the BIPARTISAN immigration reform bill would pass, in which case there would have been no need for the order.

Plus, if Trump is elected, he'll kill the order. That fragility wouldn't occur with actual legislation.
MAGAs believe, as Trump does, that Presidents should have unlimited power (at least, if they're HIM), so they believe in the Imperial Decree. But executive orders are limited in both scope and duration precisely to limit the chief executive's power, as they should never replace legislation.
