So it wasn't the wall after all, mmm, that's not surprising.
We absolutely DON'T want a "secure" southern border with military-style checkpoints, gun emplacements, minefields, and scowling soldiers every twenty feet armed with automatic weapons. That's the conservitard fantasy, but the truth is that it would be a disaster for our economy if we did that.
But anyone claiming that the border was "secure" when Trump was president is definitely living in a loony-bird fantasy world. What does that term mean, anyway? NO border crossings? Choke off all trade. migration, and travel? Or make it so difficult, that delays and procedures add huge costs to trade and commerce?
Remember a few months ago, when Texas's GUBBERNER choked off border crossings and cost trucking companies something like $50 million a day? And he didn't even get to KEEL any MESSKINS!
