Biden tells us to expect high gas prices until Russia is defeated.

We all know that Sleepy is blaming high gas prices on the war.  Since $3 gas is high, Sleepy is arguing that at minimum $2 a gallon is because of the war.  At a $2 per gallon premium, this war is costing America $23 billion a premium EVERY MONTH.

Given the huge cost of high gasoline prices on America and the solution being an end to the war, why has Biden only kicked in $11 billion to help end this war?  That sure sounds like unsound policy to me.  We all know that large numbers confuse Liberals, but I'm available to explain things to Sleepy and friends.

It would only be "costing America" if we were buying our gasoline from foreign sources. But we don't. It's just moving money from American consumers' pockets to the pockets of American fossil fuel companies. That ought to make you quiver all over with delight.

People who have families are paying the price when trying to provide for their families when they have to pay the outrageous gas prices that the brain dead Biden administration has caused by shutting down Americas ability to produce energy. The outrageous gas prices that shippers of goods have to now pay to transport and manufacture goods are being passed on to all consumers - this is why shelves are empty, and food and goods are ever increasing in costs. That is what "costing America" is defined as being. Amnerica is sitting upon 400 years of fossil fuel that, under the brain dead Biden administration have been made inexcessable with all of their energy adverse mandates and policies. The ONLY reason people are being put thru hardship now is because of these "policies" that, up until 18 months ago, were not put into place.

If someone says "costing America," it means money flowing out of America and winding up in some other country. That's not what's happening here. Money is flowing out of the pockets of Americans and winding up in the pockets of other Americans. The proper term would be "costing Americans." And it's also making other Americans rich.

You really should stop and think about what you're saying before you mouth off. High gas prices are imposing hardships. But they aren't moving money from America to someplace else, which is what Boilerboob meant (incorrectly) by "costing America."

Wow, this is a great idea.  Raise taxes, oil companies will raise gasoline prices, the government will return the tax dollars which oil companies already included in the price of gas.  Of course, the government will charge it's  normal 25% for administration costs.  It's a net loser.

Kevin keeps searching for more ways to convince American oil companies to walk away from domestic production in favor of more friendly offshore business climates.  Of course, Kevin always whines about the results of the policies that he endorses.
