You do realize that local governments, not the federal government, impose property taxes?

The reason why Social Security benefits are taxed is that they're income. Anyone who receives ONLY Social Security benefits would pay little or no tax on that income, but someone who has a substantial income in addition to their SS benefits would owe taxes on the total.

Nobody whined about that at the time, and who was President in 1983? Look it up, David. Hint: he was a Republican.

Fact check: Biden was NOT on the committee that drafted the bill.

Fact check: Biden did not write or "put up" the bill. He did vote for it, along with 88 other senators.

Fact check: The bill passed with overwhelming bipartisan support: 88-9.

Fact check: There is no mention of property tax on Biden's website. As I said above, the federal government does not impose property taxes.

Fact check: There is no mention of taxing 401ks or IRAs on Biden's website.

What David Miller is reporting is that Biden intends to initiate a Federal Property Tax.

Poor old DonDiego has not been able to confirm this tax-proposal on the internets.
