Whenever minimun wages are raised for jobs that don't qualify as a "living wage" everything price wise goes up to pay for these unwarranted wage increases - and jobs are lost because business owners cannot absorb the loss of revenue earmarked for these wage increases. The concept of minimum wage is that a person working, in any capacity, skilled or unskilled, deserves to be paid a certain minimum amount. In many states, those amounts haven't been adjusted for inflation in almost thirty years. Neither has the federal minimum wage
