Bill Taylor Implicated Trump In Today's Testimony

Tom, it doesn't matter what some Democrats thought. What matters is Trump used his office to engage in misconduct and illegal activities while serving as President.  There were a lot of "Impeach Clinton" bumper stickers before Clinton was ever sworn in. I have never seen an "Impeach Trump" bumper sticker in the wild. I think that says a lot about Democrats vs Republicans. 

And your beef about the process should be directed at the Republicans who passed the last impeachment rules, not Democrats. If you have such a problem with the rules, why didn't you complain about them when Republicans passed them?

Anyway, the Democrats announced today they would be ready for public hearings as early as mid-November.  Does that make you happy?

Tom, the truth is if Trump is not removed from office he will continue to do illegal things like award contracts to his own companies and extort or bribe other countries to interfere in our elections.  Tom, that is the real danger.  Trump has not shown any remorse nor has he shown any willingness to follow the law if he continues in office. Let's hope twenty Republicans put their country first and not their party when the vote is held in the Senate.

You're using logic to try to explain things to a Trumper. That's a hopeless endeavor, but I admit, I've tried it, too. He'll follow Trump off a cliff and his dying request will be to lick Trump's boots just one more time.

It's a baffling social phenomenon that so many people are attracted to Trump. That tells us that the very worst of humanity is still very well represented in our population. Many people wondered why so many ordinary citizens enthusiastically joined the Nazi Party in 1933. The sad, sickening truth is that they enjoyed seeing the "others" tortured, beaten, stripped of their property, and killed. Today, we have millions of people masturbating to the fantasy of Trump standing at the border and machine-gunning thousands of immigrants. We have them cheering and chanting when Trump says he can do anything he wants and all his opponents should be jailed or killed. Many of your neighbors--and mine--are horrid, evil people. And there's nothing we can do to change them--all we can do is avoid them.

So the only excuse denying the people the right to see what is going on with this crucial hearing is "because we can".

Their logic--which was and is reasonable--is that if Witness A's testimony was immediately made public, then that might affect the testimony of Witness B, C, etc. That's the reason for the secrecy now. Added to that is the perhaps small but nonetheless real possibility that Trump will seek to have witnesses harmed or even killed--he's said so publicly.

We've tried to explain this to you, Tom. That appears to have been a hopeless endeavor, like explaining nuclear physics to a cocker spaniel.
