Ooooh, TDS.  So, it's actually a mental illness to not praise Trump and the whole MAGA movement?  How does one treat it?

How is the Brass Fork?  Wife and I went to the Lindo Michoacan at the Palace Station back at the end of August, and really enjoyed it.  Hadn't been to the PS in about 10 years and liked the games they had there.  Always looking for good food places to check out.   Appreciate any feedback, Brent. 

I can add my two cents: Palace Station has always had a value-oriented comfort food coffee shop, and the Brass Fork does follow that tradition. The prices are on the high side of moderate, and the quality is likewise above average. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there, but it'll do the job if you're there already and need to refuel.

My Palace Station go-to for decades was the steak house, but I don't remember what it's called or even if it's still there. I've kind of boycotted Stations since they ran away from the business model that made them so successful: good deals for locals.

You have to figure out some way to destroy 3/4 of your brain cells so you can become a Trump supporter. Drinking? Drugs? Fox Nooze?

One way you can tell that you've succeeded is: you find yourself spending hours and hours rummaging through Facebook to find garbage to post on a gambling website's message board. Is that crazy, or what?

The Brass Forks are all pretty good, but the service at Sante Fe Station has been poor lately.  We didn't try the shrimp cocktail this trip because they didn't have it at Sunset Station.  The Charcoal room  steakhouse is very good at the Palace Station. The number of vp machines have at least doubled at the Station properties, with lots of the Allstar 3 machines.  Also many of the carnaival vp games, such as Bonus Steak ultimate x,  5+2 poker, multistack, powerhouse, super hotroll, dream card and about 5 others

What sort of paytables do they have on the carny games? I know that the bonuses usually add a slight boost to the overall payout compared to the conventional version of a given game, but I never see anything decent--only shit like 8/5 DDB. 

I would expect that there are no vullturing opportunities to speak of, given that people haunt the locals' casinos 23 hours a day hoping to find +EV opportunities. Ain't no one gonna leave a multiplier.

We played mostly nickels and  some 1 and 2 cent bonus streak and the paytables were not horrible.  There were multipiers left on some games at the level we were playing

This is the first time I've brought up that the IRA reduced inflation. I've used this graph when a MAGA member claims the IRA caused inflation. Like you have in the past. The last time I used this graph was when Boiler claimed that the IRA caused a jump in inflation, when in fact it did not. 

The IRA did not reduce inflation; I was making fun of how MAGA has many times claimed it has. I also thought it was funny how MAGA will use unrelated things to claim they have proven some grand conspiracy. You know, correlation is not causation.

Sorry for the slow response; there were lucrative promos at my local casinos on both Saturday and Sunday, a busy weekend pushing buttons on DDB and BP.

Max, you cannot educate a MAGA like Tom about the correlation/causation fallacy! Stupid Tom spent four years bleating about Biden and whining about the inflation "under" Biden. He used simple MAGA logic: BAD THING! WHO PRESIDUNT? BIDEN! ITZ BIDENZ FAWLT!!!!

However, this glittering MAGA logic is no longer operational in Tom's brain. We have a disintegrating economy "under" Trump. Is it his fault? Naah!

Remember all them Bidenquakes and Biden hurricanes? Good thing we elected Trump--he's stopped all that. Well, sorta...
