Boiler did your son make it to Vegas yet?

Curious about what he thought of it as a first timer.

He arrived with a budget that didn't allow a great trip, but he had some fun.  He gave himself a $100 loss limit...lost $135.  He had a $200 show limit given by my X, and he spent none of that.  Walked the Strip, hit downtown for one night.  It was okay.

Gee Boil, being such a sucessful investor and all, you couldn't give him a few hundred for his first trip?

I gave him $400 when he got home while out for dinner.  The boy needs to learn his own way.

Don't you just love it when others tell you how to spend your money?

The tell me that the black community shouldn't be challenged how many raise their children, yet they challenge me because I expect my children to stand on their own two feet.  That's the amazing thing.

Good for you for not bankrolling his trip.   I wouldnt either.  what hotel did he stay at?

You can buy text books for your kid in college.  Thats ok.  Flushing money down the Batman slot machine? No.

The best thing about your first trip to Vegas is you dont need money.    You get plenty of free play just for signing up at players clubs.....and there's plenty of free sites for the first timer.

I'm surprised that you let him come to Vegas. Bumping into a black person there is a real possibility. We know how that terrifies you back home.
