Bolton's Book Manuscript Leaks

Thank you for the videos.  I watched all except the Tucker Carlson videos.  The reality is not the views expoused.  It is the bias and predjudicial comments stated, that is the reality..  The farmer was typical of Trump's base.  He was right about the Division of this country.  I disagree with who is to blame,  I believe it is Trump and his base that are responsible.

What is scary is that American citizens actually buy into this propaganda.  In all fairness it is disturbing that people believe everything on MSNBC.  Hopefully this country can come together and reach some compromise.

Cjen, I certainly don't participate in these forums to engage with Trumpers. Rather, I view their presence as an unavoidable unpleasantness, like mosquitoes at a picnic. The sad fact is that wherever you go in this country, you are forced to interact with Trumpers. I would prefer they all stayed home and had sex with their Trump blow-up dolls and chewed on their MAGA hats. But that's not going to happen.

It's a bit of an overstatement to say that our country is divided like never before. The truth is, it's always been divided--the difference now is that the really evil creeps have been encouraged to crawl out from under the rocks and state their hate messages in a full-throated roar. Trump has "legitimized" race hatred, white supremacy, extortion, bribery, fraud, rape, and utter disdain for the rule of law; he has betrayed friends, ruined alliances, and caused chaos. There are, sad to say, millions of Americans who are positively turned on by these aspects of Trump's behavior. It's now socially acceptable to joke about shooting Mexicans!

I don't think compromise will be reached, whether or not it's even possible. The reason is: cognitive dissonance. When facts are presented that contradict people's beliefs, very often, their response is to deny those facts--or attack the persons stating those facts. For instance, there is ample evidence Trump is a traitor--but Trumpers deny that evidence because to admit it would be to also admit that they've been supporting an evil, corrupt asshole. That would conflict with their self-image as good people, so the only thing they can do is deny, deny. deny--and suck desperately on any alternate-reality tit that is offered, such as Fox News.

As an example of what I'm talking about, read David Miller's ("Stalker") inevitable response to this post.

Wow!  CNN has brainwashed the American public with lies that are hard for any sane person to comprehend. Take your blinders off and try thinking for yourself. Watch the videos for a REAL taste of reality.

If the shit you post had any factual basis, you wouldn't have to continually label it "THE TRUTH," "REALITY," or "THE FACTS." It would speak for itself (which it does, in a way; just not the way you intend).

I am reminded of the Soviet propaganda newspaper, "Pravda," which means "truth." If it actually stated the truth, they wouldn't have needed to attach that label to it.

(Any of you familiar with the video poker world might remember Rob Singer's "The Undeniable Truth About Video Poker," which was both very deniable and completely untrue.)

Cjen-  I suggest you take a full view of the 2 videos you panned- they show San Francisco's homeless plight and a female policewoman reply to questions with dealing with this homeless situation. Your distaste for Tucker should not keep you from seeing the reality of California's current legislation and handling of this homeless problem.

The various conservative pundits don't give a flying fuck about the problem--they're just using it as an excuse to bash California, and the only reason they're doing that is that Trumpie-poo has singled out the state as his favorite target--because politicians there have dared to stand up to him.

Conservatives LOOOOOOVE to say that the homeless problem in SFO is the result of "liberal policies." The reality is that the city is unique--its weather is never life-threatening and usually pretty mild, and it's compact--meaning that it's a pretty much ideal place for homeless people to live. Other cities in the US that have year-round mild climates have similarly large homeless populations.

One reason why homelessness is a "problem" in CA is that city officials try to deal with the problem compassionately, which means they don't just round them up and run them out of town. Conservative cities cut them off from any kind of aid and threaten to jail them if they continue the crime of existing.

I would only take Stalker's obsession with SFO's homeless if that meant he intended to help them somehow. That, I doubt. He previously posted some doctored photos of some other place--NOT San Francisco--and implied that the city's streets were filthy. That, he used his "logic" to conclude, is because it's a liberal city.

Large cities usually are liberal, but if you really want to see heaps of garbage everywhere, go to deepest darkest Trump Land and look at all the rusting pickup trucks up on blocks and trash in the yards.

The only reason conservatives cherry-pick that data is to somehow "prove" that liberal government leads to homeless problems.

Of course, cities, particularly large ones, tend to be liberal--and cities, particularly large ones, are where the homeless tend to congregate. Those things are correlated. But correlation does not equal causation.

The causation/correlation fallacy dumbfounds the dumb and leads to all sorts of false ideas about causation. For instance, I could conclusively show that cities with NBA franchises have higher incidences of homelessness than those that don't. And that would prove...nothing.

Raw data rarely means anything by itself. Data have to be interpreted, and I don't mean "viewed in whatever skewed way supports your preconceived notions." As I've noted before, if there IS any kind of causation, it's that cities with more benevolent climates tend to have larger homeless populations--which makes sense, if you think about it.

One only needs eyes and a brain to watch the homeless problem grow under Liberalism.

Considering that kevin/mark & pj start almost all the political posts I find it funny that kevin only participates to combat conservative views

If they don't start them there would be hardly any political posts

I can't talk you out of your stupid beliefs, so I won't try. I showed you why your point of view is factually and logically incorrect. That's all I can do.
