Boulder Station buffet gone forever

I'm posting in here because it would not let me sign in on the dining part.  Anyway, we were at Boulder earlier and the buffet is gone - workmen were getting rid.  Not sure what is going in there, but one of the employees said it was over.  Very disappointed.

Well, Boulder Station got rid of its good video poker, and Stations in general seems to be getting rid of its customers, so...not surprising. Their buffet was a great value and wildly popular. So of course, they're permanently removing it. Idiots.

Kevin believes that any business model which offers products and services that are above his limited budget is idiotic.  Kevin explained to us how the Venetian's owner Sheldon Adelson's business model was idiotic becasue of high prices.  The idiot died with a net worth of $30,000,000,000.

Too bad....I actually had Thanksgiving dinner there once  =)   They made a pretty mean bird.

The buffet utilized a pretty large space so I dont know what they have planned if anything.

I visited Boulder Station on my last trip in December and it was PACKED !    Seriously, they had more customers than Ballys, Flamingo, Harrahs, Linq combined.   So its not like they're doing it for lack of customers.

You are right, and they are always crowded.  We usually just go there on Wednesday now and have lunch at Guadalajara, but thought it was just temporary until the buffet opened.

Only a complete fool does NOT have a "limited budget" when it comes to gambling, or entertainment in general. Casinos FEAST on people like Boilerman, with his "unlimited budget."

If there weren't so many suckers like Boilerman ready to play 6:5 blackjack and cough up ridiculous resort fees, the casinos wouldn't be able to gouge as much as they do. But there's an unlimited supply of people whose wallets are even thicker than their heads.

Adelson was rich because he ripped people off. Boilerman admires that.

Kevin, other people put a different value on places like the Venetian than you, and for some reason this pisses you off.  My favorite place to hang is downtown Vegas, yet I carry no anger towards others who decide to spend their money more freely at fancy places.

Going through life pissed about everyone else must be a miserable existance.

Yes, and I pity you for that. You also have my pity for what you think and who you are.

Kevin proves once again that's got nothing other than anger.

That makes even less sense than usual, Boiler. Dementia is a terrible thing and I hope you have a compassionate caregiver to see you through your cognitive decline.
