Breaking The Slot Code: Will this book be released this year? Will it ever be released?

We all know this book has been delayed several times.

I think it was over a year ago we were told something along the lines of "we are about to send it to the printer"

At one point (maybe last spring?) Anthony mentioned that it would be finished in July of 2025.

Last December or so Anthony said the book will be released in February 2026. That clearly didn't happen.

Recently Anthony mentioned the book briefly on the YouTube show  saying it was "a book they are working on". No mention of a release date.

The store page currently says that it will be released in 2026.

I'm actually starting to get worried that there's something wrong with the author. Some kind of medical condition or family emergency or something. I hope everything is okay.

The only other thing I can really think of for all these delays is that it's not a book that Huntington Press is very interested in. Maybe that's why it keeps getting put on the back burner?

What do you guys think? Thoughts? Predictions? Will this book be released this year? Will it ever be released?

I'm trying to be patient but would really appreciate more transparency about these delays.

I strongly suspect that there are APs out there--possibly including the author--who don't want the book released. There are lots of slot vultures who don't want any competition.

There's a pretext, in that VP progressive play was all but crushed when a book, I forget the title, was published that showed all the value that could be gotten from progressives. Game over. There were teams camping out in carousels 24/7.

That problem may be the LVA vibe writ small, in that I've seen dozens of good promos wink out of existence as soon as they were mentioned on this site.

Anthony said at one point that the hold-up was that they had difficulty ensuring the explanation on all the machines made sense and was instructional for someone seeing this info for the first time.

So, like 80% of gambling books, it was poorly written? Though LVA does tend to only sell books that are well written, so maybe the original manuscript needed to be heavily edited for clarity.

When the book is finally released, there will be a window of opportunity before every potential +EV machine on the planet is surrounded 24/7 by hordes of drooling vultures. That window will be open for approximately fourteen seconds.

Therefore, a follow-up volume will be needed: Breaking the Slot Crowd. Disabling tactics such as the Vulcan Nerve Pinch to get rid of the other eight APs who want "your" machine and its precious and transient +$8.14 in EV.
