President “Spanky” Dennison will get his. They have him and Cohen admitting to various campaign finance violations in the written and verbal contortions they have gone through trying to explain their payoff to Stormy. David Dennison has a John Edwards problem. Don’t forget Edwards was prosecuted and the evidence in that case was much weaker than we have here. Mueller could pick up Cohen up at any time and attempt to squeeze him for information on the Russia probe as he is facing 1-5 years on a Federal Felony charge for the illegal campaign contribution to his pal David Dennison's campaign.
Braking: Stormy Amends Suit Against Trump To Include Defamation Charges.
Stormy Daniels ramped up her legal battle against President Trump on Monday, alleging in court that his personal attorney Michael Cohen defamed her by insinuating that she lied about an affair with Trump more than a decade ago. Daniels amended her existing lawsuit against Trump, adding Cohen as a defendant in the pending case.
Besides accusing Cohen of defamation, the amended complaint broadens Daniels’s contention that the confidentiality agreement was illegal, because it lacked Trump’s signature. The new complaint says the payment violated federal laws that impose limits on campaign donations and require those donations to be publicly reported.
The amended complaint argues that the clause requiring private arbitration is invalid. Secret arbitration would hide an allegedly illegal campaign contribution and violate “public policy by suppressing speech on a matter of enormous public concern,” the complaint says.
