BREAKING: The U.S. economy grew last year at the fastest pace since Ronald Reagan’s presidency

That's according to the Associated Press.

Also, I understand that inflation is now higher than it's been since...Ronald Reagan's presidency.

One of the above is because of Biden. The other has nothing to do with Biden. Did I get that right?

You probably won't get a reply. The forum conservatives are cocooned in their state government provided safe spaces.

Well since Democrats here claimed Obama was responsible for at least the first 2 years of Trump economic growth, we'd have to conclude that Trump was responsible for any 2021 economic growth, right?  In reality recovering jobs lost because the govenment shut down the economy to flatten the curve hardly qualifies as creating new jobs or constitues real economic growth.

Now, as to who is responsible for record inflation...let's just say Biden was lucky Manchin held his ground on Build Back Better or we'd be looking at double digit inflation....not that it still won't happen.

If you actually believe Obama was responsible for Trump's economic growth you should say so. Otherwise, what is your point?

In case you haven't noticed, my post exposes hypocrites on both sides of the political spectrum. Like you for instance.

Oh and I thought I was simply exposing Democrat hypocrisy for claiming  that Obama was responsible for the first year of Trump's economy while not crediting him for this supposed economic growth in Biden's first year.   Like you for instance.  You also blamed Bush for Obama's first year so there's that too.  Shocking I tell you.

You on the other hand won't even say which of those storylines you believe. Pathetic.

Conservitards are running the issue into the ground, bleating endlessly, but the reality is that the President, whoever he is, has at most a very minimal influence on the national and global economy.

Obama was able to do more than most because he inherited a historically serious recession. But neither Obama, nor Trump, nor Biden has or had the power to dictate the actions of private companies or of other countries.

So no President deserves "credit"--or blame--for what happens in the GLOBAL economy, of which the US is only a small part. The tiny-brained folk look at the economy, say to themselves, "Who's President?," then say, "Oh, then it's his fault/he deserves the credit."

Most people don't fathom how limited the President's power really is.

Uh, dum-dum, less than 1% of the funds earmarked in Build Back Better have been allocated, much less spent. So there's no inflationary pressure from that to speak of.

When you through gas on the fire, it burns.  Imagine that.

Uh, dum-dum...if it's a fire, it's already burning. Better try for a better metaphor.
