Bring On The MAGA Tears: Prosecutors ready to ask for Trump indictment on obstruction and Espionage Act charges

The Independent has learned that prosecutors are ready to ask grand jurors to approve an indictment against Mr. Trump for violating a portion of the US criminal code known as Section 793, which prohibits “gathering, transmitting or losing” any “information respecting the national defense”.

That section of US criminal law is written in a way that could encompass Mr. Trump’s conduct even if he was authorized to possess the information as president because it states that anyone who “lawfully having possession of, access to, control over, or being entrusted with any document ...relating to the national defense,” and “willfully communicates, delivers, transmits or causes to be communicated, delivered, or transmitted or attempts to communicate, deliver, transmit or cause to be communicated, delivered or transmitted the same to any person not entitled to receive it, or willfully retains the same and fails to deliver it on demand to the officer or employee of the United States entitled to receive it” can be punished by as many as ten years in prison.

Big deal. Will they clamp the cuffs on him and drag him away? The way anybody else suspected of multiple serious felonies would be? No.

Will he spend five minutes in jail? No.

Will he be required to post bail? No.

Will his case(s) ever go to court? No.

Will he be fined as much as fifteen cents? No.

I am, however, entertained by Pence announcing that he's running against his former master.

This same "law" can be applied to brain dead Biden and Hillary.

If he's guilty, he should be held to the same standards that others are held to.  The same for Sleepy.

Ha ha ha ha ha. You've told us multiple times that Trump has never committed a crime; furthermore, that he's never told a lie.

David thinks that any law Trump breaks should be referred to as a "law." Because his orange god has never done anything wrong. LO fucking L.
