Under the conditions of rape and such many many conservatives do not dispute the abortion rights! What I do have a problem with is lazy bastards taking no responsibility to exist. 

On the abortion issue my views are not really different than yours.

I think a lot of rank and file conservatives have similar views, but hardly any elected Republicans do. Who could forget the whole make lemonade out of lemons argument, the various types of rape argument where Republicans wanted to know if the victim sufficiently resisted the rape,  and that pregnancy never happens from rape because "The female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down." These were all arguments put forth by conservative elected officials for not including a rape exception in purposed legislation outlawing abortion. 

The reality is if the government shuts all the abortion clinics down because they require them to follow the same standards as a full-blown hospital (that is the current tactic) while not requiring other outpatient facilities or even full-blown surgical centers to do so, there is no rape exception, there is no exception for a child that will be born with severe health problems, and there is no exception where the life of the mother is in danger because there are no places to get an abortion. 

 And what about all of the unborn children who never have a chance of living because those who get pregnant while fornicating just for fornicating sake decide that they don't value the life of the concieved child? What say you about that Mark?  Crickets.....

So, you're a forced birther?  Even so, If David and like-minded individuals agreed to take all of these unwanted kids into their home, provide them with a loving home and financially support them until they finished their education, I wouldn't object to banning abortion except in the case of rape/incest, mother's health is at risk and the child would be born with significant medical problems.   Provided the government had facilities to make sure these folks could get an abortion and the government provided free birth control to the population.

There are currently over 100,000 kids in foster care waiting to be adopted. I suggest David start now and show he is willing to walk the walk. 

Would Mark or PJ like to have been a victim of abortion?

Would PJ and Mark agree to take illegal aliens into their homes and financially support them for the remainder of their lives?  If so, then I might not object to the banning of illegals into the U.S. as long as the rest of the bleeding heart liberals in the U.S. would also do the same ...

Oh c'mon, that whole quote of "a woman's body shuts down" was by that one idiot and I'm pretty sure everyone with half a brain laughed at the guy. To insinuate that view is held by anyone else but him is just a flat out lie.

Lest people forget, in the case of unwanted pregnacies, there's always adoption. How many people are in line to adopt a kid? I don't know the number but I know it's more than 15.

The only people waiting in line to adopt are those that will only adopt white infants.

I am surprised, but should not be, by Mark pulling the race card - pretty low, even for a liberal.

It is not a race card it is a statistical fact. If you want to adopt a black or brown baby, there is no wait. There is also no wait for white babies with developmental disabilities. Generally, there is no wait to adopt kids of any race over 3 years old.

White folks for the most part want to only adopt white babies. That is why there is a huge inventory of kids waiting to be adopted.
