Republicans are so convinced of the facts they hid behind a uterus throughout the questioning of the alleged vicitm whose story they doubt. They didn't put their big boy pants on until she left. They dont have enough courage or conviction in their own case to face the person making the accusation.
I have no idea how the vote will go. Its possible we get another sex offender on the court. I cant imagine that will be good for the GOP's elections going forward - but I struggle to see them having much luck anyway.

Actually, the Democrats hid behind the uterus - she and they are nothing but liars. If she had not left, then she would have faced questioning. She left knowing this. Difficult to "face the person making the accusation" when she choose not to be there.
AT BEST the sexual assault allegations will remain an open question that has not been thoroughly investigated. Anyone who votes to confirm Kavanaugh will be on record leaving that open question in favor of getting a right-wing judge vetted by the Heritage Foundation.
And maybe thats fine if you're a shitkicker from Mississippi that has no worry of losing a seat. But there's lots of purple state Republicans up for reelection in 2020. I will be curious to see how they vote tomorrow.
