That is the right thing to do. If you believe in Kavanaugh, you have to have an investigation to clear his name. Otherwise, he is going to walk around with these allegations hanging over his head for the rest of his life. The Republicans are doing a great disservice to him, his accusers and the rest of the country by refusing to direct the FBI to conduct an investigation into these allegations.
Amazing how these 3 have hazy memories of the details such as when, where & who was there, but somehow remember that Kavanaugh (who at the time was just another student) was there.
The latest person, claims to have been present for 10 gang rapes, but declined to call the police. Very irresponsible
Victims often don't come forward Tom especially younger victims. Bill Cosby is sitting in jail right now because somebody came forward after the fact. Rape and sexual assault are among the most underreported crimes. Denny Hastert only went to jail because years later his victims demanded justice. Harvey Weinstein is facing criminal charges because victims came forward years later.
What I find so interesting about the three victim's stories is how similar they are. All involve Kavanaugh drinking to excess and then taking advantage of an incapacitated female or one he managed to separate from the crowd. Kavanaugh doesn't help himself when he makes ridiculous claims about being a virgin and never drinking to the point of being drunk. His high school and college classmates quickly shot both of those down. So even if Kavanaugh is innocent on the sexual assault charges, he sure has a hell of a problem with lying and committing perjury.
The good news is the hearing is times and maybe, I doubt it, but maybe Mark will stop his carping. Vote on Friday......lol, like Mark is really concerned about Kavanaugh's future. That's some funny stuff right there!

Oh, I have no doubt Republicans will install a guy that participated in gang rape. They are the lowest of the low.
There is an accuser number #4 out there. No surprise but this one also involves a drunken Kavanaugh. This one happened in 1998.
According to an anonymous complaint sent to Republican Sen. Cory Gardner of Colorado, Kavanaugh physically assaulted a woman he socialized with in the Washington, D.C., area in 1998 while he was inebriated.
The sender of the complaint described an evening involving her own daughter, Kavanaugh and several friends in 1998.
“When they left the bar (under the influence of alcohol) they were all shocked when Brett Kavanaugh, shoved her friend up against the wall very aggressively and sexually.”
“There were at least four witnesses including my daughter.” The writer of the letter provided no names but said the alleged victim was still traumatized and had decided to remain anonymous herself.
I wonder what the conservatives here think of the "democratic operative" now that they have heard her speak.
Still waiting to see some evidence of guilt.
If someone commits these acts; the trend would be to continue thru adulthood, but there has not been a single case. In fact, he has numerous letters of commendation from women

DonDiego suggests the appropriate terms are "Republicans" and "Democrats" as opposed to "right" and "left".
Poor old DonDiego didn't watch the first few hours, . . . but as the "hearing" dragged on, . . . and the issue of another "investigation" arose and was repeated it suddenly dawned on poor old DonDiego that the Democrats are doing everything to avoid tomorrow's vote on the nominee, . . . just to delay, delay, and delay, . . . hoping for a blue election-day.
It is sorta sad to watch.
By the way another FBI-investigation would add nothing of substance. All the FBI can do is collect evidence, . . in this case only statements, . . . and present those statements to the President. That's exactly what this hearing is supposed to do, . . . in between the political banter from Republican and Democrats.
