This Saturday I'll be with 40 friends, including Mike, during our annual pub crawl along one of the Chicago Metra commuter train lines.  Mike is a sales executive with InBev (aka Budweiser).  The last time I was with Mike on April 8, he told us that he had participated in meetings about the trans advertising campaign.  He thought that it was ludicrous idea, but chose to not say a peep.  He knew that the woke marketing folks would immediately label him as some sort of horrible person for simply telling the truth.  You know, transphobic, homophobic, racist, on down the line.

After the clusterfuck became apparent, he simply reported that his distributors were very pissed off.  He also handles Costo and Target nationwide, and I'll be interested to learn their take on things......especially woke Target.

The best thing about the Trump era is the right wingers finally feel free to express the hatred they felt inclined to bite their tounge about prior.     It used to be dog whistles and vague expressions they would defend under some other narrative.    Now they just spill it out there.   And I think thats great.  Everyone should know the honest dispostion about intolerant bigots.

The confederate Klan cant handle a store that sells shirts with rainbows on them to celebrate Pride month.  And they cant handle a dude in a dress drinking a beer.   Both are a bridge too far for them and they arent afraid to put that ignorance on full display and let the world know. 

And thats their right.  And good for them.   And good for the rest of us who get to see their true colors on full display.    History will judge them about as well as the assholes who stood with George Wallace blocking black kids from going to a white school.

I don't hold any hatred towards these people.  Nor I'm a frightened of them, so I can not be phobic.  I'm sick of their agenda being pushed on the balance of the population and that I conform to their demands and agree that they are normal.  After all, they are not normal.  Go do your thing and stop pushing your agenda on us.

I do hate that this group is pushing their agenda on children.  That is wrong.

What "agenda" is it you speak of?  There was a commercial with a trans person drinking a beer.  There is a store selling gay pride merchandise.   Neither venue preached an "agenda".  All they did was market merchandise to people you claim you don't hate.

and let's be honest, boiler.   You do hate them.   You're on record on this forum referring to them as "freaks" .   

The only people I ever hear talking about a gay agenda are conservatives. A national retailer selling pride items because they realized there was a demand for it is not pushing an agenda. Companies target new demographics all the time to try and get a larger market share.  

Conservatives are trying to do the same thing they did in red state schools, they think they are entitled to live their life free of never seeing an openly gay person in public and want to erase any mention of gays in society as a whole.  It is disgusting. 

And it boggles my mind how so many of the younger conservatives in their 20s and 30s are flaming homosexuals. You would think if the conservatives are so opposed to the "gay agenda" they would purge these folks from their ranks first. Hell even Tom and David have posted articles/links here written by some of these flaming conservative homosexuals. Does that mean David and Tom are promoting the "gay agenda" and should David boycott himself?
