I had a discussion on a different site with a guy who claimed that Cat 1 Hurricane Sandy was one of the most powerful hurricanes of all time.........strictly because of the property damage. Some Liberals now judge a hurricane's not by wind speed or water surge, but by the value of the property on the coast. Every time a hurricane hits, cheap properties are torn down and are replaced with far more expensive properties. This creates an increase risk of property damage.
Hurricane intensity and volumes are not increasing. There are discussions about why this is, but it's a fact no matter how many times people claim otherwise. One only needs to look at the data to learn the truth. Do not believe a Liberal writer's agenda driven position, but instead rely on the data only.
