I don't follow the CA state legislature or issues, I also don't follow FL or TX, I know MAGA is keenly interested in everything CA does. 

On the face of it, I would be in favor of making sex trafficking of minors a felony. I, of course, don't take responsibility for what happens in CA or for the Democrats' actions in CA. I'm a registered independent in the state of CO.

I spent 3 minutes to discover what Aaron is lying about now. What they were voting on was removing a carve out for 16 &17 year olds not kids. 

If Matt Gaetz had paid to fuck his 17 year-old sugar baby in California instead of Florida he would have been charged with a misdemeanor instead of a felony under current California law. 

 The vote was to change the law so someone that pays a 16 to 17 year old, that lies about their age or has a fake ID, for sex gets the same charge as someone that paid to have sex with a two year old. 

The whole issue shows how full of shit MAGAs like Aaron are.  He votes for an adjudicated rapist that bragged on a national radio program about barging into dressing rooms where 14 & 15 year old girls were dressing so he could see them naked. I guess anybody that voted for Trump is a pedo and rape enthusiast just like Aaron.

I do not. I explained to you what the law is in California and what they were actually voting on. It was and is a crime to pay to have sex with 16 & 17 year olds in California already.  Given your unwavering support of Matt Gatez, it is clear you think it is ok and that paying a kid for sex qualifies you to serve as Attorney General.

Presently, the CA law states that if a 16 or 17 year old is involved, the crime can be either charged as a misdemeanor or felony if sex trafficking is involved.
