The L.A. fires - Instead of fire equipment we bought pride flags. Instead of hiring firefighters we conducted DEI training classes. Instead of touring needed areas to determine fire fighting needs the Mayor went to Africa. We fired over a hundred fire fighters a couple of years ago because they refused the covid vaccine not realizing that one day we would need them, we emptied reservoirs 18 months before the fire for maintenance and forgot to refill them because everybody was too busy learning to use the correct pronouns
