California teacher gets fired

Meanwhile 63% of high school seniors are not proficient at reading or math and need remedial courses if they want to go to college.  19% of high school graduates can't read....and of course that doesn't count the dropouts who can't read.

It's time to scrap the failed public school system and move to a system of parental choice with the money following the student.  Then if Mark wants his kids tought that America has always been a worthless racist country he can enroll them in commie schools.  If David wants his kids tought that America has had issues but we can overcome them, he can enroll his kids in patriotic schools.  I'll enroll my kids in schools that don't teach history but focus on Math, Schience, Reading and Writing....Not commie.  Not patriotic.  They can read a variey of history books when they actually learn how to read.

So your solution is to make sure they don't learn anything about history?

No, it isn't time to scrap the public schools.  Teaching historical facts such as slavery existed isn't saying American has always been a worthless racist society. You seem to want to raise your kids in a fantasy land leaving them ignorant for when they have to make their way in the real world.

And you already have parental choice. You can enroll your kids in any private school you want. You just want to go full commie and have the government pay for it.  See you in the breadline comrade.

Once again Kevin disparages a posting I made, calling it "spreading ugliness and hate". My posting of the video showing the result of ultra radical, twisted liberal teachings needed to be shown. There is no place in America for traitors like this so called "teacher".

The distinction is you are getting your panties all knotted up over one lone loon in a blue state while in the red states twisted hate-filled white nationalism lunacy is being taught to every kid in public school as ordered by the state goverment.

Mark, conservative teachers believe that parents should teach children about such topics.  Liberal teachers believe that they should impose their views and indoctrinate children on such topics.............extra credit is a common theme with Liberal teachers and Liberal causes.  Liberal judges ignore the Constitution and legislate from the bench, while Conservative judges believe that the Constitutional LAW should be followed.

One loon? Now that is a joke. California is the breeding ground of misguided "loons". I checked and found that my "panties" are not "all knotted up". The twisted hate- filled leftist lunacy is rooted in blue, DemocRatic states. Your asinine comment about red states is absurd, and every sane thinking person knows that.

Yes, it is clear conservatives don't want to teach their kids fictional subjects like history and science.  Hell, might as well pull them out of school before they learn to read wouldn't want them to find out about things like slavery the white-on-black massacres of whole communities, segregation and so on.

The plain unvarnished historical facts make conservatives look bad and that is why they want to make sure nobody knows what they are.

Sure, you have evidence of one lone loon acting alone. In red states, it is the whole government that engages in forced indoctrination and radicalization. Can a teacher in Texas get fired for denying slavery occurred?

No, because all teachers are required to pretend it never happened.

Your analogy is feeble and totally lame. I know of no red state teacher ever claiming that slavery never occured. But we all know what this California lunatic said and has done. Please give examples of red state "forced indoctrination and radicalization" - that phrasing more fittingly fits the blue states.

The advent of slavery in America could not be taught as representing the true founding of the United States, but rather a “deviation” from American principles, according to the bill.

What "bill" are you referring to?
