California - They Love Their Ignorance

It's the Millers who help us to be winners. The casinos strip him naked, he crawls home, they deposit his losses, sell his clothes, and then they offer us room rate discounts.

It's for that reason I've never minded sharing a blackjack table with idiots. The Sink, though...There is no profit for us in sharing the Sink with Miller. If only he would just honor his own promise to stay away while he's getting butt-pounded in Vegas. But as we know, that promise was hollow. Sorta like some other old nasty dude named Dump or Flump or something like that.

David,

I asked your favorite source Google whether the term elected is correct in a primary:

No, the term "elected" is technically incorrect for a standard primary election, as candidates are nominated, not elected to public office......

In closing I will paraphrase an old adage:

Sometimes it is best to not respond, and be THOUGHT a fool, than to jump on your keyboard and remove all doubt.

You are wrong again - look up " Primary election vs. General election" . The Primaries  ARE elections. I will leave you with an adage - know what you are talking about before opening your mouth.

Yes they're both elections but not all elections result in a person being elected, or reelected. Some result in a person being nominated. But honestly it's kind of pointless to argue over semantics like this so let's just move on.

Any event, whether a birthday party, chicken fight, nuclear accident, or primary "election," that does not result in someone being appointed to office, cannot be said to "re-elect" anyone. David said Bass had been re-elected. She was not.

So...WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG, David.

Apparently your "argument" fell flat, and because of that, you want to " move on" . Apparently you offer no apology for your snide remark - I am not surprised.

You think your behavior and your snide remarks don't warrant an apology?

You disgust everyone here. End of stupid thread.

Apparently YOU consider the telling of the truth as being "disgusting" - that is rich coming from the most disgusting person to have ever posted in the Forums. Disgust is too kind of a term describing you - more fitting is detestable.

Highlight and go to that web site.  Nice clear explanations.  General, Primary, and Special Elections.
