That is such good news, if true. EVERY US, so called, high speed train costs 4X the promised price (at best), and trip times are 1.8X the p promised time. Ridership is always 35% of the promise, and they lose shitloads of money.
Forgive me for not trusting the people who've lied 20 times in a row.
California spends more money in taxes than it receives from the Federal government - even when you include the right wing crybaby projects like high-speed rail.
When shithole trailer park states like Mississippi and Arkansas start paying for their own spending then their MAGA residents will be in a position to bitch about what California does with their own projects. Until then you should say "thank you" to the multitude of millionaires in California who pay for all the welfare red states whose economies are based in shoveling shit.
Have a great day.

An easy to read map, enjoy!
Quick comment on the map I posted, "donor states"(states that send more to the Feds than they get back), CA, CO, and TX. States that get more back than they send IN and OR.
Not an inclusive list, just folks who like to post and where they're from. Find your state on the map and share with the group!

California pays for the welfare of the shithole states. So you shitholers shouldn't whine whine whine about a transportation project that despite Trump's lies, is being paid for by CALIFORNIA.

Now, the truth -- "President Trump announced Wednesday that his administration is cutting off $4 billion in federal funding for California’s long-delayed high-speed rail project. Calling it a “disastrously overpriced” failure, Trump said the state’s Democrat leadership had squandered taxpayer dollars and delivered nothing in return."--https://mxmnews.com/article/ccf8640d-3e0b-40af-bc46-70ce8c2095c2?trump-pulls-plug-on-california-s-train-to-nowhere

Are you including all the federal money for California military installations. The economic impact accounts for 4.7% of the states economy. Of course Liberals don't consider this. They cherry pick data.
Another example of Liberal cherry picked data is for the cost of electricity from wind and solar. Liberals NEVER include the cost of conventional speaker power plants...demanding that this cost be tallied against traditional power. These expensive plants exist for one reason...wild and solar. It's all a big lie and the very reason California electricity prices are sky high. All state electricity price are up a bunch due to wind a solar. That free wind and sun sure is expensive.

Thats a complete crock accross the board.
Military bases GDP % per state
California's GDP is 2.1% and thats half compared to the stat as Kentucky and Mississippi just to name two.
And Every state in the country has high-demand plants that turn on during peak usage of the grid. California and other southwestern states utilize them less because as it turns out peak demand tends to occur the same time the sun is shining....which means solar largely picks up that slack instead of the expensive fossil fuel plants.
And Im 100% sure Boilerman doesnt include the high costs of increased natural disasters, exploding insurance rates on coastal areas in his tabulation of carbon energy....not to mention the costs of middle east wars that were fought in part on oil.
So in summary - dumbfuck red states that dont invest in education dont produce working people with incomes that contribute more than they take away. Thats why California has a surplus and trailer park MIssissippi doesnt.
