Can anyone name a G-7 country that has a better economy right now than the US?

I've already busted you for lying on this thread.  Instead of asking questions why dont you provide facts with a credible source.  Otherwise I think its safe for us all to presume you lied again.

I measure the economy with the same metrics economists use.   You have to find something new to complain about every month.    Thats why you and Tom have to continually move your goal posts.   Last year you were bitching about oil prices and inflation.     Now you're upset about Labor Force Participation - but only in the cherry picked years you want to compare.    Sorry - My IQ isnt low enough.

PS - I just got done watching the State of State address for Indiana.   Boilerman, your governor just spent 30 minutes bragging about the fantastic state of the Indiana economy and citing all of the same metrics that I use.

You better get on the phone and let him know he just spent 30 minutes lying through his teeth.

Sweden is running a government spending surplus.  In contrast, the US borrowed $5200 in 2023 for every man, woman and child.  This outlandish spending certainly stimulates our current economy IN THE SHORT RUN, yet it fucks our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

PJ, if I borrow $150,000 for a fancy car and ten nice trips, does that mean I'm doing great financially?  That seems to be your argument.

Sweden has an average of a 50% income tax rate. That's how you get a budget surplus.

But gee, Boiler, haven't you been whining about socialism? SOCIALISM! SOOOOOOOOOCIALISM!!!!!! Every time a Democrat talks about spending money for something other than gunning down Mexicans at the border?

Hey, everybody, Boiler's a socialist now! A fan of socialist Sweden!

PJ just jumped right over my suggestion to consider employment participation rate.  Address a couple of issues for me.

1.  How many americans are working today vs pre covid Trump?  PS, I gave you a link for this.

2.  How many more people are living in the US since Sleepy has let 4,000,000 illegals in, and what does this do to the percentage of people living in America working.  Notice that I didn't say Americans.  The employment participation rate takes into account all living in America, and what percentage of these people are working.

3.  Why it's good that we have 5,000,000 more people living here, yet 2,000,000 fewer people working?

4.  Lots of free shit.  Ask NY, Chicago, Detroit, Denver, and others about this free shit.

Yo, stupid:

1. About a million more.

2. Migrants, illegal or otherwise, aren't counted in the labor participation rate.

3. Since your "why is it good" statement is malarkey, your question is nonsense.

4. You've gotten free shit all your life. Whether you want to admit it or not.

Spread your legs, David, Trump is coming.

So my original post on this "Can anyone name a G-7 country that has a better economy right now than the US?" post was "I'll wait."

I'm still waiting.

They're chickenshit cowards here, who scurry away when they're refuted and schooled.

Here's looking at you, stupid Tommie-poo (Radish Man) and Socialist Boiler.

Since when do you care about deficits?  You're on record bragging about Trump's economy and how much better it was than Biden's.  Not only does that fail the GDP and employment metrics....it fails your deficit metric too.     Biden's lowered the deficit every year since Trump left office.

So - uh - looks like you're stuck with "Joe is old" or something.

PJ, you will never remember this.  I've addressed this with you a dozen time with you.  I've complained about the deficit for every administration since I started paying attention.  Clinton, worked well with Republicans, yet every other administration has been a spending cluster forever.

And your complaints about deficits have always been the same--assuming that deficits are inherently bad. That's what your kindergarten teacher told you, and you're sticking with it. But the reality is more nuanced. Well beyond your comprehension.

Conservitards LUVVVV to bleat about deficits--like they actually care! But it's only if the current administration is Democratic. How loud and how long did you bleat when Trump upped the deficit by several trillion bucks? Not at all, if memory serves. And don't tell me that it wasn't a spending issue. Both spending and cutting revenues create deficits.

So you're a fucking hypocrite, like all conservitards.

Until one of our resident Trump lovers responds directly to the question posed, this deserves to be near the top, don't you think?
