Wow 17,000 cars; will the republic survive?

Meanwhile

On Monday, the Trump administration added Hyundai (OTC:HYMTF) to the list, with the conglomerate planning to announce a $20 billion U.S. investment. The South Korean company’s reported plan includes the construction of a $5 billion steel plant in Louisiana. The onshoring operation from Hyundai is expected to create 1,500 jobs."

"

Do you think Hyundai has the workforce to build in the USA?

US immigration agents arrest hundreds in raid at Georgia Hyundai plant | Reuters

Since this was obviously yet another stupid Turd revenge move, he must have made insane demands on Hyundai if they wanted to expand operations in the US, and they refused.

Now, we know that the Turd HATES foreign companies operating in the US, so he must have demanded a couple billion for himself. (He has no moral or ethical compunctions against using his power to stuff his pockets.)

I don't even want to know what the pretext was for the raid on the factory.

How long do you think it will take for all these removed workers from our economy to start showing up in the GDP numbers?

Trump better start figuring out who he's going to throw under the bus when that happens.    Who is the little green man going to be?

It's not even debatable. The people who are being Gestapoed are human capital--with their skills, abilities, and knowledge. Not easily acquired, and now gone forever. They won't come back even if Melania shoves a fireplace poker up the Turd's ass and the next President begs them to return.

People are the most important element of our economy. But when you openly profess your hatred for them, persecute them, insult them, and deprive them of their rights, they leave. We used to be the land of opportunity. Now, we're the land of racist persecution. Who would want to live and work here now, knowing that they have no rights and the storm troopers can drag them away at any moment?

Shame on all you stinking fucks who voted for this!

South Korean workers detained in Georgia ICE raid to be sent back to South Korea following negotiations, official says | CNN

"The company also said it was suspending most of its business trips to the US, “Currently traveling employees are advised to immediately return home or remain at their accommodations, considering their current work status,” a statement read."

I wonder how Hyundai will be able to invest the $20 billion that they promised Trump? Notice, it's just a promise.

As MAGA has told us, foreign workers do not deserve due process, so whether it turns out you're working here legally or not. Once ICE has you in custody, you can end up in prison in a foreign country you've never been to, without any judicial review of your status.

Seems heavy-handed and intellectually dense to me, oh wait, isn't that the definition of MAGA?

Thats 300 people who will no longer pay rent on the local apartment....or get thier hair cut at the local barber shop...or buy groceries at the local grocery store....or buy gas at the gas station....or pay utilities to the local utility companies.....and pay state/local taxes for schools/police/fire.

Thats what happens when you put the KKK in charge of immigration.

That means jobs for citizens & legal immigrants.

By stealing jobs from the people who already had them.

Also, stupid Tom...were the people who were grabbed and hauled away here legally, or not? Maybe they swam here from South Korea!!! LOL.

And why is it BAAAAAD to employ noncitizens?

Stupid fucking racist Tom.

And so now Hyundai as well as the community has lost a highly skilled workforce--and stupid fucks like Tom think that there are 300 local goobers currently working at Burger King who can just jump in and replace them.

It's not just this one instance. Companies all over the world are canceling plans to start or expand operations in the US. Why would any company spend the money to build a factory and hire and train workers when at any time, the fascist rapist orange asshole could raid the factory and shut it down on some moronic pretext?

You assume the South Koreans are illegal? You believe Hyundai is bringing in illegal workers? How does that impact the $20 billion promise you were proud of in February?
