Can Hyundai invest in the USA?

Why is Hyundai bringing in illegal workers while Trump has been promoting his agreement? Does his administration not know what they're doing?

Nothing I've read so far says anything about the legal immigration status of the 300 workers who were dragged away by Trump's thugs. I find it very, very difficult to believe that they didn't have valid work permits and legal entry. Hyundai promises that it only hires workers who are here legally. As I said above, what's most likely is that a few work permits expired, turning their holders into ILLEGULS and serving as a pretext for dragging away all 300 of them.

Which of course is why the Turd is denying them due process.

South Korea has agreed to repatriate them all, because they've already said "fuck the Turd" due to his broken promises and welshed-on "deals." We won't have them FEELTHY South Koreans in our sacred land any more. No more of that kimchi!

When MAGA says this, I hear, "You got cooties!! eewww!!" In a 5th grader's voice.

Of course, it also reminds me of this guy, which is pretty funny!

Interesting that these were jobs that were touted by Biden in 2022 as brand new American jobs.

What happened that they needed 300-400 South Koreans?  No Americans wanted the job or did Hyundai do like a lot of H1B and Indian hiring groups do (only hire Indians), and only hire Koreans?

Nah, but I hear there are job openings at a battery plant if you are looking for a job.  Bring your ID!

Lol!  That's a good one since Liberals hate ID requirements.

Well, that explains why this happened. The Fucking Turd spent the first half of his first term undoing, or trying to undo, everything Obama had done. That, and playing golf, and raping women. Now, he's devoting time and energy to undo everything Biden did. He no longer has the energy for golf or rape, though.

Hyundai needed the additional workers because they invested in a plant expansion, but there weren't nearly enough local workers in Bucktooth Land to fill the need. Those who were available were a pretty sorry lot.

Hyundai's Georgia plant was humming along. The South Korean workers who were dragged away were here perfectly legally. Hyundai had been encouraged to hire locals but was essentially forced to use skilled workers from South Korea to get the factory up and running.
