Only a total idiot would regard this as a good thing. But then, conservitards love violence.

The report is written up so badly it is hard to tell who died and who was stabbed and with what.  Nonetheless, given the limited/confusing details, I'll have to say that were I the woman threatened with the "baton", had my car stolen from me, I'd be rather pleased to know that justice prevailed, that the carjacker got what he deserved.  Choose the action, accept the consequences.

How the hell does liberalism or conservatism figure into what a person who intentionally perpetrates physical harm against another deserves?

It is a bad thing any harm came to the carjacker in Kevin's world.  He should be praised and sent on his way.  Maybe offer to buy him a coffee before he takes your car......

    As far as I am concerned, if a person threatened me with bodily harm if I refused to give them my car, I will defend myself to whatever degree is necessary. 

I object to the death penalty for stealing or attempting to steal a car. I don't grant ordinary citizens the right to mete out the death penalty.

In Conservitard World--you know, the nirvana the RepubliQ is trying to create--if you're at a restaurant, and someone tries to steal a french fry off your plate, you're entitled--and justified--to grab your steak knife and hammer it twelve times into his chest.

kevin feels that it is ok to steal someone's property & those people can't defend it. In addition, he thinks there are too many police, even though crime is increasing by double digits.

Never said that, stupid Tommie-poo. I said that the death penalty for stealing is inappropriate, and that ordinary citizens aren't entitled to be judge, jury, and executioner.

Because being a vigilante is part of the conservitard view of the world, in addition to gun love and manhood fantasies.

Do you really want to live in a society where ordinary citizens mete out lethal punishment for every crime? Do you really think that the crime of assault deserves the death penalty?
