When asked who won the debate, 42% said Vance, 41% said Walz, and 17% said it was a tie. So now Dementia David can run around in circles, hooting and flapping his arms. His guy WON!!!!! A CRUSHER!!!!
Perhaps more interesting is that over 80% said the the debate had a "positive" and "constructive" tone. Responders did say that they felt that Vance spent too much time attacking Walz and Harris and not enough time on the issues. They felt that Walz paid more attention to those issues.
Opinions of Vance rose slightly from where they had been before (in the toilet); opinions of Walz rose as well.
I think the most newsworthy aspect of the debate was that Vance, after a mighty struggle, no doubt, morphed into something resembling an actual human being, if perhaps only for a little while. He did, of course, lie like a good Trump slave, but you couldn't really have expected him not to.
